Re: How many of you can get your booze delivered in these times?

Post by scream ale »

I know of at least one liquor store around here (upstate NY) that is offering delivery through something called Drizly. Or Drizlee. Something like that. There's one store I've seen had a sign saying 1 customer at a time but there appeared to be a line of people inside. When I went by the store again there was a line outside as well. For the most part in my area you can't go inside liquor stores anymore. They all want you to order online/call in your order. You then park in their lot and call again and tell them you are picking up an order or you just call from the parking lot and they bring it to your car.

In Germany at least all the wine shops offer delivery here in Berlin. Most people in the city don´t own cars after all, so buying larger quantities makes no sense if you had to get it home yourself, either using public transport or taxi. Luckily that hasn´t changed yet. In fact, delivery people are making good money right now i would imagine.
You may now lavish your congratulations upon me.

Owl. Although as soon as they started shutting down the world I suddenly had an urge to go out and be social.

I associate with none of those birds, at least not completely.

A more extensive taxonomy is needed, preferably one involving the pterodactyl.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

^ ^ ^ Yeah Nauz it is true, this really doesn't comprehensibly cover the diversified aviary world. Perhaps ducks, turkeys, ostriches, storks, pelicans, sea hawks, bald eagles, emus, pigeons, crows, kookaburras, and chickens should be thrown in the mix. I might find a better match to associate with.
