EXACTLY. I have some okay drinking buddies, but any more they ONLY ever play one stones record or one Aerosmith record. Last time I convinced them to play descendents, but I was lucky. I usually drink alone and wake up with CDs and LPs scattered all over my apartment.

I'm kind of fond of Johnny Thunders when I drink.

It usually doesn't matter what I drink but Fugazi, Ramones, Joy Division or James Brown always end up in the CD player at some point during the evening.

Around here it's always The Pogues and the Dropkick Murphys, no matter who's around or what else we play.

I'm still stuck in the eighties. My favorite drinking cd is Sandinista.

Karl-O Marx and Frederich Engels
Came to the checkout at the 7-11
Marx was skint but he had sense
Engels lent him the necessary pence

Man, what else is in the "Punk collector's series"?!?!?!?

I used to have a cryps / bloods unite against gang violence album I swiped from a radio station I worked at, but then someone stole it from me.

How the hell did I forget about the Pogues? Now that's excellent background music while I execute a full frontal assault on my liver.
