New to the board. Reader of the magazine since 2011. Been drinkning since 2007. Trying to figure out how to be a drunkard, a husband and maintaining a job all at once. Drinking my third rum and cola for today, about to pour the fourth. Have not read any of the posts on this board yet, looking forward to it.

I found the magazine in 2006. I have all six issues. They're a good read.

Awesome. I'm pretty drunk right now.

Cheers
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a drunk man tortilla chips, Velveeta and a hair dryer and he has nachos.

Welcome to Wonderland Jamarcus. Remember to post drunk. Post often and most importantly post drunk often.

As for the balancing act I'll have to sort out a weell thought out post for you. in the meantime I do have this tidbit on the marriage front.

Welcome aboard also from me.

First one buys, whisky sour please.

Yes as a woman I will definitely agree that shit for no reason always works.

Good morning (or afternoon, or...you get the gist), fellow boozers! Name's George, and it's good being among other enthusiastic tipplers. Been reading the magazine for a long while now, been drinking for longer, and last night decided to join up after a "few" drinks. Now, I'm nursing a nightmarish hangover with a couple of beers - mixing bourbon and ouzo never agrees with me in the morning, yet I keep doing it...

alright brother....a fellow European eh! welcome to the board...and yeah man the smell of ouzo reminds me of some pretty bleak hangovers over in Greece.

and while you're at the bar mine's a pint and a large bourbon please.

Welcome aboard from the States. Remember post often. Post drunk. Post drunk often.

Cheers.

I'll have some Sambuca Romano, same flavor as ouzo but a tad gentler on the hangover side of things.

Orders coming up for the welcoming committee. Gotta admit, I never liked Sambuca, but I'll have one for myself, too, because I always liked bartenders that drink along with their customers - probably why no bar ever hires me. And benito, I'll make the bourbon triple, just because you order like I do.

We drunks are quite the friendly bunch, ain't we? Didn't expect more welcome messages during my first day on the board. And DB, you I think you inspired me; I'm gonna have a rum and coke too, to take the edge off those gin and tonics I've been guzzling. After all, weekends are supposed to end with dinosaur-killing hangovers, it's not how they ought to begin.
