just finished work and drank a few tall cans of lager over my last hour of the shift. gonna have one more now and then move onto highballs...

still debating g&t's or rum and coke's...likely both

Are we talking proper Churchill martinis? Or those deplorable Roosevelt abominations?

I get a kick out of ordering a martini from a bartender of questionable faculties and being asked "straight up or on the rocks?" Oh, yes, just fill the fucking glass with ice. Dump a whole bottle of vermouth in there while you’re at it. Can you make it with Fireball and Red Bull?

My attempt:

1 barspoon of lillet blanc - stirred into the ice and then discarded.
50ml of Gin.
1 olive as garnish (i actually prefer lemon peel, but i'm out of lemons)

More research must be completed.
