Franzia Chillable Red on a day when we had a rare thunderstorm in San Diego, California. There was even an alert on my phone for a sever weather watch. The landlord had recently landscaped everything, mulched the courtyard and put trees and plants in the ground, and it did not flood. Even slight rain used to flood it, but not now. How odd!

Sometimes I like wine, red mostly, at the moment I'm enjoying Jameson, as I related earlier I will need to find liquor stores, and/or augment with online purchases

Still working my way through this bottle of Natterjack Irish whisky. Can't believe it's lasted this ling. I am not a fan of this stuff. I blame this bottle for losing my taste for Irish and Scotch. Added a few dashes of bitters. Helps the medicine go down.

Similarly, now I'm fighting with an unopened bottle of Cutty Sark from the back of my liquor cabinet (I'm not a big fan of Scotch whisky). Had one glass of it mixed with water (went down easy enough, but I hate watering drinks down), another with soda (how my grandmother drank her whisky; not too shabby but nothing special), and now I'm having one with lemon juice, makes it glide down a little easier.
Might put the bottle aside, though, have a beer to rinse my mouth, and dive into the bottle of Four Roses. Cheers and happy Saturday drinking.

Always makes me wonder how they got there. Usually, either because some guest brought it (and the scoundrel drank my good stuff, leaving me with the bad) or because I went to the liquor store after a few drinks.

Citrus is great, you get drunk and get some vitamin C in you! Now, I'm thinking about saving the rest of the bottle until I can get some oranges and grapefruits to try different scotch-fruit combinations.

There's nothing better than September weather except September weather with Rolling Rock beer and Gran Legacy whiskey. All alone in this room - the neighbors are quiet, even the crackheads are quiet. This, my friends, is paradise.
