"Single Barrel" from Old Prentice distillery. 90 proof. Got a freebie yesterday while up in Leelenau. Thin bottle, cork top.
Nice, not sure it measures up to Wild Turkey 101 (thanks to whoever brought that topic up), a little too dry, not enough of the familiar candy caramel taste.
I'm thinking of a taste test with the above plus:
Knob Creek
Evan Williams
Old Grand Dad
+ some cheap bourbon to trip up the snobs I play cards with; any suggestions?
