Upgrading to Budweiser/Kessler tonight. I'm celebrating appearing in Nerve Cowboy, a print poetry magazine. There aren't very many of them around anymore. These guys have been going since the 1990's and they publish some pretty big names. And they are still old school. They don't take submissions on line. You have to print your poems out, stuff them in an envelope, include an SASE and mail it in. This issue that just came out is their summer 2021 issue. A lot of magazines are running late because it's so hard to get paper now. I saw an interview with an editor that runs a university journal and he said he is two issues behind because he can't get paper. He also said the writers are getting irate and demanding to know when it's going to be ready. I never pestered Nerve Cowboy about when they were going to have this latest issue out. I wonder if other people did. If so, I hope they remember I didn't bug them about it.

And yes, I know that my upgrade is everyone else's puke drink.
