Been gulping the Hamm's, now pouring the Ten High. My receipts show the last time I bought whiskey was June 9 when I bought two handles of Ten High. That's the longest I've made two bottles of whiskey last in about three years now. I had to cut back because of the DTs and turning my brain to mush. I think it's paying off, I feel better and I think I can get more food in my stomach now. I had been putting away more than a handle a week ever since COVID.

I was in line behind a bartender I haven't seen since pre-COVID days. We both acted like we didn't see each other. In fact I wasn't even sure it was her until I heard her voice as she talked with the cashier. Then, as I was leaving with my whiskey, another bartender I hadn't seen in about a decade had just come in the store. He didn't see me and I didn't stop him. He hasn't worked in years because he destroyed his insides with crack so bad the doctors in San Diego had to send him up to LA. He's probably about 40 years old or so and lives with his parents. In fact, he was with his dad in the store today.

Interesting. What were your DT syndromes or symptoms? Once you start up again you will make up for lost time. I imagine the Ten High will get you right where you want to be tonight. It is all about the brain. It doesn’t know when to quit, always wants more.

The weather feels like fall at the moment. That calls for a white russian. If the sun might come out later I`ll switch to a more fruitier cocktail style of drink
