I was gifted a bottle of Woodford Reserve so I started with a bit of that. Moved onto my usual tall can.

12 oz. cans of PBR. Later I'll mix in some Ten High. It's been one month since I've had whiskey. Here's hoping for a good night of drinking and writing.

Hugh, you are the greatest writer I’ve ever known. I’m very proud to be your friend, and my dog Chester is even prouder. He had his balls cut off you know, but he doesn’t care. He loves his uncle Hugh. He told me he loves his uncle Hugh, balls or no balls, and Hugh is the best writer in town and that’s just the way it is.

Chester loves Hugh’s singing. His head tilts to the side and his ears make a backward move.

Bah! Just took that first sip of Ten High. Blech. I never should have drank that Wild Turkey 101 a month ago. I can't allow myself to become spoiled and drink expensive whiskey. My bank account doesn't allow it. Does Nausea ever worry over money as he sips these expensive whiskeys? Is he some rich heir who struts down the whiskey aisle pulling bottle after bottle from the top shelf?

And I would be too if I didn’t have a stomach ache. Every where I go I have a stomach ache. Oh yeah, What are drinking right now?

Ladybug put the twelve pack up here with me. So I am drinking a warm Budweiser that spilled over when I opened it and some small hits of Burnett’s out the plastic bottle. My hands go all over the place. They make that “I can’t believe it gesture” and keep wriggling all over. I just watch all this and take another pull of Burnett’s, another swallow of warm Budweiser, and I think, “Yeah, this is okay, man, I’ve got it kind of cozy here, got nothing to worry about.”

Did it never occour to you that Nausea is Wild Turkey. He probably gets paid by them to advertise it on drunkard skypecalls (it totally works, I bought a bottle to share with him).

I went down to the Chelsea Drugstore / To buy a six pack of beer / I stood in line with Mr. Oetts / And Man he looked pretty ill / We decided to get us a whiskey / Our favorite flavor Wild T / And we sung this song together / Waitin’ in lane number three —“ You can’t always get what you want / No you can’t always get what you want / But if you try some time / You just might find / You get what you need!”

Starting off with a tall can of Busch. $2.58 for a 25 oz. can. It's almost as cheap to buy tall cans as it is to buy a 12 pack of 12oz PBR. The tall can of Busch comes out to ten cents per oz. The 12 pack of PBR comes out to nine cents per oz.

After the Busch will start in on my PBR. And then comes the Ten High.

My favorite tall can is 8% and 2/$2.50 at the gas station. Raise a glass/can to cheap beer.
