Tis Genesee high gravity lager. Damn good stuff. Haven't touched 211 in years. Used to be one of my go to drinks when I was about 19 and didn't know any better. 99 cents a pop.

I offered to review a book of poetry that will be coming out soon and after starting in on it I sort of wish I hadn't. It's a debut collection and the writer writes well, but it's got a modernistic bent to it and I find it hard to review modernist poetry. It's too easy to miss metaphor or a nod to other modernism and make myself look like an idiot. It's only 71 pages, I'll take my time and go through it as thoroughly as I can. The writer is kind of touchy, easy to fly into anger if his tweets are any indication. We follow each other on Twitter and I sent him a DM asking for biographical information about six hours ago. He's been on Twitter but he still hasn't responded to me. I just have a bad feeling that this isn't going to end well.
