My liquor store expanded into what used to be a laundrymat next door. It more than doubled in size, but now they have less beer than they've ever had. A shit ton of seltzers/ciders and a shit ton of bottled wine. But the six-packs of Hamms are gone. As are the six-packs of everything else. Are even the 12-packs of everything else. The only domestic beer they have are single tall cans or shrink-wrapped tall can 3-packs. I had to go to CVS for the PBR and luckily it was the same price as what the liquor store used to have - $12.49 for a 12-pack. Maybe I'll just go to CVS for beer from now on. It certainly seems like the liquor store is telling poor folk to get lost. I walked around the store twice looking for my beer and none of them offered any help. They knew I was looking for the cheap beer.
