I walked in the door about 20 minutes ago and I can't stop crying. My heart hurts.

My heart so goes out to you Judge, Mrs. Judge and LR. I have no doubt that he had a very happy life with you guys and hopefully a long one. Such a difficult, but brave and right thing to do under the circumstances.

Well, that sucked. Amazing how fast it's all over, one second he's panting and his little heart is beating like crazy, next second, he's limp and no heart beat.

I went to the local after and ordered an Irish CarBomb. The barmaid looked at me like I was crazy 'cuz I always have a Sierra Nevada. I told her why and she bought my drink. Two sierra's later I was leaving and LR came up the walk outside and we went back in for one more.

I'm making chili tonight.

And getting drunk.

Here's to you Max. You little dustmop you.

Sorry to hear about the dog Judge & LR. I've had to put down several pets due to old age and illness. It sucks but when they can't function anymore it's better to see them go then drag it out to long.

At least it was your choice to make the call. There is only one thing worse than putting down an old dog and that's having a young vibrant dog die in your arms because of a freak accident.

Ellie has been gone for 4 months now but the pain is still raw from her loss.

Well it appears we are having a wake at Clan Fraser's here. I only ever had one dog of my very own. She was a deformed runt PitBull back in the '70's called Midge cuz she was a Midget. She should not have survived to be weaned. She got tagged in the street. I thought she was fine but she died a few hours later due to internal bleeding. Never wanted another dog after that.

But we got Max. He could have lived on another two or three years but good vs. bad days was running to the bad. My job was to make it right and I did.

Little fucker is gonna cost me a mint now. He fucked up all my floors and I will be replacing all the carpets, flooring and footboards. And of course the wife will want new drapes, furniture, etc., to match.

I was good to you little dustmop. You apparently were worth 10 grand.

Here's to Max. I'm really sorry to hear that, Judge and LR. I've lost a few dogs in my life, and each loss has made me cry like a baby. I still miss them all. But the joy they bring must be worth it, or we wouldn't do it I guess. Here's another one to Max. My sympathies.

Jesus. That's all kinds of awful. Condolences, for what it's worth. Raising the wrist to your pooch tonight.
