I love these Bukowski clips but that damn music at the beginning gets on my nerves. Also, I think Bukowski is being sarcastic when he talks about weed/other drugs. It's aaaalll good baby.

Nah, he was notoriously anti-marijuana and always believed that weed would be the downfall of younger generations.

The reason I find the whole anti drug thing funny is that he had plenty of stories regarding him toking and taking party pills. Sure it may all be fiction but I highly doubt it. Guy must have been boozing hardcore and taking whatever he was able when he was able. Too much insight to just be fiction.

I mostly hated the poetry, liked about half the short stories--some were great, and loved the novels.
