By the way, I probably should inform you that the first diet ever (sic) included meat, two glasses of wine or beer and two glasses of brandy a day. So we should all be safe and healthy.

The best way to lose weight is to stop eating. Stick to the clear drinks; vodka, gin, schnapps etc. Drink them with a half lager chaser. I've lost 40 pounds since April. Mind, I've not consciously been dieting. Just too drunk to forage for food.

Thank God I see you regularly. I would not recognize you.
Oh, well, of course I would. I just would follow the blood marks on the pavement.

Well, "lite" does means less calories somehow, normally by cutting carbs so if you're really seriously dieting lite beer is the way to go, unfortunately. And even better choice though would be hard liqour and some calorie free mixer. Like a scotch and soda, or rum and diet coke.

yeah we heard scotch is the best dieter's booze, and we could live with that (no mixer, anyway, ever) but we'd sure miss the lager, so lite and scotch it shall be.

Any lager you like. After all you are just using it to help force the vodka down quicker.
