I really don't know exactly right now. I'm at this cocktail party in Beverly Hills chumming with old college buddies at a successful attorney's home. This is a rare occasion for me to get dressed up and meet people. Yes, this was the geriatric crowd but the drinks were flowing with a great view of L.A. The drinks came around on trays, this tastes like fine tequila. There's an open bar and I got a Pacifico lager for a chaser.

Four Roses on the rocks, enjoying a surprisingly cool Sunday after two weeks of an infernal heatwave. It's a big holiday here and pretty much everyone is on islands, so Athens is quieter than a village in the middle of nowhere. Does feel fantastic getting drunk in an empty, big city - almost as fantastic as having another bottle waiting for this one to be finished. Cheers!

I don't think my body could handle another bottle of Ancient Age -- at least not in such close succession.

I almost bought a bottle of Old Crow. That will have to be after my strength has been gathered together again.

Badfellow recommended the Oktoberfest but it's not in stock yet. I'll have to make sure to put in a request.

Taking it easy again with some brews: River North Brewery's Colorado IPA, and, Durango, CO's finest: Ska -- Decadent Imperial IPA.

The latter clocks in at 10% so I won't be wasting too much of my time. I get extra alcohol karma points for keeping it local, right?
