Sorry to here the first part.

I got a call from one of my sisters last night. She thought her dog had had a stroke and asked me, if he died in the night, would I help her carry him in the morning. Turns out that he has something called Vestibular syndrome. I don't know what's next.

Nope, it's his time. Too many bad days with the enlarged heart, breathing problems and pain.

Always thought he'd just croak but I had to set the day and hour. 25 mins to go.

Sorry to hear that. Putting down a pet is a terrible thing but most times it's for the best.

Damn. That's a painful one. I hope I never have to do that with Jake. I'll cry like a little schoolgirl and I have no problems with that. Pets are not extended family, they are part of the immediate family. My sympathies.

It's definitely for the best. He had such a hard time last night. He couldn't breathe, and just kept looking at me like he was begging for me to stop his pain. It hurts to know that when I go home, no one will be there to greet me anymore.
