home distilling

Post by Bluespook »

Ok, so I know I have been talking about it for some time but I am ready to pull the trigger on my own distilling. Just trying to figure out the best way. I've done alot of reading on the subject and it seems that the way most people go is either converting an old beer keg into your pot or using a stainless milk can. I was wondering. Why not use a pressure cooker? I could take the fitting off the top, run my line up that way. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Anybody got experience with this kind of thing?
Beer's just being social. Whiskey's drinkin'.
