Going with the Franzia Chillable Red tonight - had nothing to drink last night and that means bad hangover tomorrow.

Just now came across a tweet that mentioned a stretch of highway in Tennessee called "The Snake," popular with motorcyclists. It just so happens that I wrote a little about that highway in my book and I started to reply to the tweet and mention my book but decided against it. I'm such a chickenshit.

This is what happened to me. This is what I’ve been trying to get at. My phone charger came apart in the plug. It’s an iphone without service. I’ve told this before. So I had the Bug order a new box plug. The cord is still good. It’s that box that fits into the wall plug that has come apart.

So it comes, finally. It’s on the front porch. It’s in this cardboard container that the only way to get open is to use the box cutter. I get it open. I go into the bathroom where there is a light so I can hook it up and charge my phone.

It’s a whole fucking different setup. It’s a wall plug that has one input cord connection that fits the phone input but that DOES NOT DO ME ANY GOOD because the other end of the phone is left useless like my pecker, it doesn’t connect to anything, there’s not even a plug to connect.

I can’t take this kind of thing. I quit. The irony (nobody knows what that means) is that I knew in my collective unconscious this outcome was going to happen and I didn’t listen to it.
