Been on the couch all day recovering from last night's beer/whiskey. I put down a half handle of whiskey in less than 6 hours. Fuck.

Success! Sort of. The Rite Aid in my neighborhood has Miller High Life in cans, and the price is below $1 per can. But the Rite Aid is also four California blocks from my home, and they only sell it in 24-packs. Yes, I carried a 24-pack of beer home four blocks in the July heat. On a bad knee, to boot.

The price was $19.60, so that comes out to 82 cents a can, or 7 cents an ounce (per ounce has to be accounted for too, sometimes I get 16 oz cans).

After working up that sweat, I'm freshly showered, and to celebrate my good fortune in finding a new beer supplier, I'm allowing myself to start drinking early tonight. Will pour the Gran Legacy a we move to the midnight hour.
