Balcones' Brimstone. It's been a while since I've had this one, and luckily the liquor store that I sourced it from is still stocking it, despite changes in management.

There are a lot more fruity notes than I remember. That may be due to the content variances that smaller distilleries have -- not sure.

The hangover threat is very real with this one. Let's hope I don't regret the session at work tomorrow. Cheers.

Yeah, there is a hint of cognac in the after-taste but its quite subtile. Must say its the smoothest Glenlivet so far, keeping in mind that i'm not such a big fan of the brand
