It's freezing in my apartment, but I'm drinking cold 16 oz cans of PBR anyway. Lacing it with some nice Gran Legacy whiskey.

The beer/whiskey combo knocks me the fuck out, especially after a day of work. A few days ago I woke up after passing out on the couch at 7 AM. I checked my browser history and the last thing I did was watch a music video at 1:05 AM. I slept for damb near 6 straight hours!

Starting off with Franzia Chillable Red, but the box is almost empty. I'll be pouring Vella Delicious Red later because CVS is out of not just my Franzia, but most other Franzias as well. It makes me a little nervous to see all that empty shelf space where my wine is supposed to be. I picked up two boxes of Vella this morning and I should probably start hoarding it in case this supply chain smashup gets worse.

Hitting the PBR/Gran Legacy whiskey tonight after downing nearly an entire box of Vella wine last night.

I was reading the poem What One Must Contend With by Frederick Seidel. In it, he is skewering a writer who can not write worth a shit, has a stutter, and is a terrible person. It was such a burn I had to google it to see who he was talking about. I found an interview where the interviewer had the same question I had - Who the fuck were you ripping apart in there?

It was himself. The poem was about himself.
