You have until October 15th to submit movie suggestions to the National Film Preservation Board to be added to the National Film Registry for preservation by the Library of Congress. They select up to 25 new titles each year, and one of the factors that they weigh in selecting films are suggestions from the general public.
There are a number of soused cinema classics that have yet to be enshrined in the National Film Registry including:
One A.M. (1916)
The Fatal Glass of Beer (1933)
It's a Gift (1934)
The Lost Weekend (1945)
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)
The Iceman Cometh (1973)
This is your chance to change that. I have details on how to submit suggestions to the board at boozemovies.com. The specific post is here:

Vote for these soused cinema classics while you have a chance!
