Yeah, I know, everyone reading this in California is laughing their asses off. Still, now that I have experienced both earthquakes and tornadoes, give me the twisters any day.

I've felt two earthquakes since we moved out here. My father's place had a bit of damage but he's only 12 miles away from epicenter; to be expected. I'm with you - give me a twister over shaking my ground! Take care & hold tight!

That was funny. I must admit, I was laughing a bit while hearing about the quake when it hit.

I swear, when you jump up and go diving under a table or rushing like a lunatic under a door frame is exactly when it's stops shaking. Next time, try to do a shot before it stops.

I did do my homework, cuz I do need to know. That plate is not connected to mine. However, our Ring of Fire has been acting up lately, so I better stock the pantry with booze. Oh, and water and food too, I guess. Mostly booze.

I'm not sure of the magnitude of the quake that woke me up when I was a little girl, but it wasn't the quake itself that freaked me out, it was the shivery sound of my posters slowly sliding down the wall, that scared me.

I've felt two quakes in the last 40 years and I live in a region of relative tectonic stability-Interior Low Plateau(Central Kentucky). While, most common on plate boundaries, quakes can happen anywhere, anytime.

Since, it has been determined that geologists are the first alcohol based life form. I'm gonna assume that some contributors are Geonerds.
