A toast...

Post by Corrodesthefilm »

...To the least pretentious drink forum I've found. I'm new here and I don't care if the snobs think Old Crow is "too simple" to be sipped neat; that's not the damned point! Then again, I can always appreciate a George Dickel or Woodford...on the rare chance I can spend so much. :) I'll drink a Budweiser or even a Steel Reserve any day but I can still appreciate the imperial stouts and double IPAs so popular today. This is a toast to those who don't care what others think: we drink what we like and we like what we drink!

That said, I'm currently sipping some Old Crow Reserve with a wee bit of Sprite and feeling fine. I think I'll enjoy it here.

i think you may fit in here.

i'll have a pitcher of yuengling and a pint of makers, thanks.

just fyi, this board officially has a "thing" about brown-foreman products, of which woodford's is one. check the "sign the petition" thread if you care to read more. i agree that is some tasty bourbon. we certainly allow disenting opinions, of course.

welcome to paradise!

The only way to have it. And to hell if ya get a few cuts, just gets the booze in your bloodstream faster! (I think that's how it works. Makes sense now anyway.)
