Woke up, got out of bed, dragged some ice across my head.

Made my downstairs and made a cup, looking up, I knew that I was fucked because its gonna be 114 fucking degrees today.

For you assholes that use that cute little kiddie math, it's gonna be 45.6 Celsius.

I will be inside, watching some crazy ass rich guy ride a rocket into space. If you miss it, don't worry. There's another crazy ass rich guy riding a different rocket to space next week. Apparently, it's becoming a "thing".

Rained almost all day Friday and Sunday. Weather broke so I could go to the Gettysburg Bike Rally. Kix played. Beer was enjoyed responsibly. Rode home and then enjoyed beers irresponsibly.

We`re fine, we live up on the hill. One of my father`s town houses got flooded badly though. The tenants still have no electricity. In some other houses just the basement storage was full with water. We`ll have a lot of cleaning up to do in the near future.

Today, the humidity is off the roof, I feel like I'm living inside one of those tropical rainforest exhibits they've got at zoos. I'm actually sweating the beer off faster than I can guzzle it.

Rain all week long. So there will be lots of cozy inside drinking.

No rain. Ball sweating hot. Forest fire smoke from the north and west. The world is slowly dying.

Air conditioning at the bar. Friends. Lots of strong drink served under the guise of ice, the world’s most affordable luxury.

So far the week has been pleasant. Humidity down, sunny with the spotty thunderstorm. Temps in the mid to upper 80s. This weekend in the Poconos camping should be quite nice. Fishing, booze and maybe fungus are on the agenda.

Still humid as fuck here in the rainforest exhibit. Fortunately, nothing the air-conditioner and some gin and tonics can't fight off. There are brief bouts of guilt about the AC's environmental impact, but just going to the bathroom and getting drenched in sweat in two minutes suffices to obliterate the guilt.
