Coastal low clouds and fog all day keeping temps here on the SoCal coast in the mid low 70's while 25mi. away in the San Fernando valley, temps are near 100F.

After a heatwave followed by days of rain the sun is shining and the heat and humidity are at tolerable levels. Tis fine summer drinking weather.

Hot and a heat advisory is in effect out in the desert. Even though I'm near the coast, it's so hot I have the windows and doors open. I don't have screen doors, so bugs and mice may enter at will.

Yes, it got rather warm here in the sunny Southland. It may have broken records in Death Valley with a reading of 135F! Now I've noticed a run on Mexican lager and Pacifico is hard to find! We are fucked!

While many parts of the world are burning, we have had a very cool summer. Rainy for days on end and averaging 65-72°F (18-22°C) daily highs. The weather here is reminiscent of the Pacific Northwest so we usually don't have hot summers and nobody has A/C., so can't imagine what those folks are going through. No complaints here!

Aside from the fact that it appears yet another storm might roll through it's actually quite nice outside. Hoping to be done with the running around bullshit fast fast so I can get in some quality drinking time on the patio.
