No heat wave on the tundra today.

Lovely 80F, sunny and breezy with those puffy white clouds that remind you of the half & half you’d pour into a White Russian/ caucasian. Going to sit for a spell on the clubhouse patio at the golf course, order a Philly cheesesteak and absorb the rays with a Long Island Iced Tea. I can watch all the dinguses drive their balls into the 9th hole (man, that sounds dirty), or if they’re really lucky they’ll be drunk enough to stumble into a water hazard.

Hope the temps cool down a bit for the rest of you sweaty butts and jungle crotches out there in the wastelands.

Got some rough weather rolling through. Started to panic because I thought the meteorologist said "King Kong ball sized hail".

Hurricane Hilary Cat 3 headed up the Pac coast toward SoCal soon to be downgraded to tropical rainstorm to hit tomorrow. That's going to be real swamp weather and washed out roads. I'm all stocked up and ready to ride it out thru Monday. This is an extreme occurrence in these parts. Hasn't happened since 1939! Usually the colder waters block these storms and they usually travel West instead of North. I smell geoengineering afoot!

Calm before the storm here in San Diego. Hurricane Hillary is supposed to hit tomorrow but right now there is not a stir. No wind whatsoever. The plants out in the courtyard are perfectly still. It's already been downgraded as it approached Baja, it should be pretty weak by the time it gets here.

The weather here moved from a heatwave to thunderstorms and heavy rain in almost a single day. Can't complain, though. The temperature's dropped to highly comfortable levels and it's fun to watch the rain with a bottle of Wild Turkey 101.

Rainy all day today. Every morning I check the weather forecast on a local TV station website and this rain was not in the forecast yesterday. I wonder if it was in their televised forecast though? I don't have a TV, I get all my news on my internet laptop.
