I never posted nearly enough to be in any list, but reading these boards (and occasionally chiming in) was enough to make me feel like I wasn't drinking alone. I spent a lot of days and nights browsing the forums, laughing at the hi-jinks and learning a thing or two about drinking by proxy. Many good people here from the old days, and from the looks of it, many good ones have stepped up in the missing MDMers' absence.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of some of my favorite members. I'm happy to hear of the continued good health of some of my favorite members. Such is life, I suppose. Cheers to all of you - bourbon highballs tonight.

Thanks, Raoul. Glad to hear you're still with us. Both physically and in drunkard spirit. What do you say we pour ourselves a tall one and reminisce?

Dear Lady S., if I may be permitted, to quote Buckaroo Banzai, from the superb film, "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension", "remember, no matter where you go, there you are".

So, you see, you can't be lost.

Now sit yourself down and pick up your sippy-cup full of bourbon and think happy thoughts, Dear Lady S.

You know, I've been here so long, I don't think you could scrub me away with a Brillo pad.

I nominate Savage for Queen B

Post by NYDingbat »

In the spirit of nominating Judge for de facto Godfather of The Board, I throw out there for your consideration, we dub our Dear Lady Savage our Queen B - not to be confused with Queen Bee - this B stands for, say it with me, BOOZE!!

What say you, Lady S? There's a tiara and sash involved, if that sways you at all. Of course, I'm sure the fellas will be clamoring for some bathing suit bidness...

I agree. It's all her sexy bourbon talk that turns me on. She should be the centerfold of the magazine. (yes, there's a magazine!)

Oh, and because of her sexy food talk, I would also like to nominate her for the cover of Play-boyardee.

Got my vote.

At first I was confused as the Windsor granny is visiting germany right now and every media outlet is gushing over the occasion non stop, it`s getting comical.

Is anyone else worthy of such a title? I think not!
Major Strasser: What is your nationality?
Rick: I'm a drunkard.
Captain Renault: That makes Rick a citizen of the world.
