In the late 90's his grand idea for a German Mexican fusion restaurant was a complete bust. Who'd have thought that calling the joint the Gestaco would have been a nonstarter. To make matters worse was the waiters uniforms, black jodhpur pants with black riding boots and the top half was a black mariachi type jacket complete with a reworked Deathshead of crossed forks behind a loaded taco. The SS bolts redone in tamales on the collars were likely no help either.

The menu was so promising though. Brat'n'kraut tacos, schnitzel quesadillas, saurbraten tortilla soup. So much potential.
