Establishing a cut-offiversary

Post by Emperor Awesome »

I moved to my current apartment 11 months ago, and frequent a bar about a five minute walk away. The other night, I finally got cut off for the first time. I just laughed when it happened, I was approaching a perfectly obnoxious level of noise, bound to happen. No ragerts. I finally feel like I'm established there now.

I have this thing, where I present like I'm completely straight-faced normal, even when I'm black-out drunk.

And this isn't just piss-poor memory. Everybody tells me this, and if I mention I blacked out, they're completely fucking shocked. I get shitty fucking drunk and FEEL like a total fucking drunkard, but apparently present myself well. I've yet to get cut off. It's a blessing, but it's a curse, in that my blackouts happen much earlier in a night of boozing than for most. That part makes me look lightweight, which is a name I don't take kindly to.

Congratulations! You found the limit. As long as you aren't belligerent in your local on a daily basis,

This right here.

Oh and as you get older that limit lowers no matter how hard you practice.

I don't think the booze is at fault though. I think as you grow older your tolerance for douchebaggery and asshattery lower.

True. From my 20s into my 30s I must`ve flipped a switch. Or I`m getting deaf.
