I think I walked the equivalent of the sears tower`s stairs today. Carrying inch thick floor tyles. I lost 5 pounds through sweating. Freaking skype call was still running when I had to leave in the morning. Started drinking heavily when I finally made it home

About the funniest thing you'll ever see is someone with DT's installing a window AC unit. It took several attempts, but I got it in. Now I'm ensconced in my tiny bedroom with the AC on high and the temperature has dropped from 93 to a cool 89. First can of PBR opened, whiskey to follow.

Since I worked Friday and I plan on showing up tomorrow I'm bassically getting paid to drink beer and listen to metal today. All day.

Went and had breakfast, then stopped off at the American Legion for a couple Scotch and coffee. Picked about 25 lbs. concord grapes for making jelly this week. Started a 20 quart stockpot of tomato sauce that should reduce to about 10-15 quarts by tomorrow.

Tacos for dinner with Oktoberfest followed by bong hits, rye whiskey and likely more Scotch.

I cooked 8 pounds of raw plums into something.
They had to be dealt wtih because they were fermenting already, it smelled like brandy-party

I was invited to a small party at the neighbor's house on Saturday. Things started reasonably with Glenlivet on the rocks and a few games of pool in the fellow's well appointed basement. Tried a delicious claret wine from Ramey Vineyards which made me wonder why I don't drink more wine. Things were groovy.

My mistake came when I got into an Aquavit drinking contest of sorts with a Finnish/American firefighter twice my size. When I say contest, we were not drinking against one another but rather against the bottle itself. In this we were victorious. Though I did spend the entirety of yesterday squatting in a decimated, Aquavit-reeking ruins of my own making. Skøl, y'all.
