True story now, all my stories are true. I’m walking (if you can call it that, stumbling is more accurate) back to my place with my tall six and trusty cane for support. On the right coming up is this guy on his porch. This is the same porch that I rested on when I had to rest. This is the same guy that came out of his house and basically told me to get the fuck off his porch steps. I’ve acquired since then a bit of stamina and didn’t have to sit and rest. He was talking to a buddy on his porch. There was a gal ahead of me on the sidewalk that stopped to shoot the shit with this guy and his buddy. I have to cane myself off the sidewalk to get around her. She sees me but doesn’t move even a muscle to let me pass. “Don’t get yours bowels in an uproar, Thompson,” I said to myself. One block down the line I feel this nice big fart about to escape. I let it escape of course and didn’t realize the gal was literally right behind me. When the fart escaped it was long and loud. She screamed, but I didn’t move out of her way and she almost tripped and fell.
