Today is Pisco Sour Day.
Peru and Chile both claim the pisco sour as their national drink, and a contentious debate over the drink's origin persists. The Peruvian version of the drink has a Peruvian pisco base, lime juice, syrup, egg whites, Angostura bitters, and ice. The Chilean version uses Chilean pisco and pica lime, but does not use bitters or egg whites.

I got really sick one time drinking Inca Pisco. The flavor still haunts me today.

Today is World Bartender Day

It's the day to appreciate the staff in your local bar. They are often the makers or breakers of your level of drunkeness, so treat them well.

You have something special planned for Shitfinger Shelley? Maybe buy her a new set of Lee Press On Nails to replace those old, poopy ones she uses to stir the drinks.

I would love to do that if we were able to patronize bars. Stupid 'rona. Stupid lock down.
But in honor, yes let's raise a glass anyway to Stinkfinger Shelley, our favorite bartender!

It's Good Friday. It can easily be transformed into Great Friday through the magic of Ethyl. I'm planning on sticking to an Easter-theme by only drinking Rum and Coke.

Pounding beers and throwing rotten eggs at people would be very un-easter

Easter Theme?

Wouldn't a whiskey sour with egg white be a better to-the-motif theme for Easter?

you know what...fuck it, give me a rum and coke. I'm bitching and moaning too much

April 2nd, twice the fools

silly me drinking all the leftovers in my fridge. started with a white claw (sissy) man can. I brought home to drink on the way, cuz it doesn't smell of booze and I'd prol get stuck in traffic., leftover cuz I couldn't stomach it- all it did was make me pee. then some shots with a buddy who stopped by, then some canned mimosa shit, now it's some strawberry/kiwi horseshit they call beer. what a hell day at work, forgot to bring home some real beer I wanted to get out of there so bad. guess I'm the fool. back to Tully, my only friend.
