name change

Post by ThirstyDrunk »

There was a board poster called DanUK and as I recall he was going to legally change his name to Danger Awesome. I don't know if he ever did it but I've been thinking of changing my last name.
Top vote wins it, I'm also open to suggestions.

Thurston Pujols has a nice ring to it.

Thurston Dickel has a nice royal sound to it.
Idunno might just become my new last name.

You have to remember, this isn't just about you... You're creating a surname that will reverberate through time. Thousands, if not millions, of your progeny will carry this name through existence.

We must be mindful of the gravity of it all.

So in the great English tradition of surnames coming from one's occupation, I chose Drunk.

Your descendents need to know where they come from and what they have to live up to.

And they have to live up to a lot!

I chose "Overholt." It's manly and intimidating.

Most importantly, it exemplifies the objective of merging with the whiskey's essence.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Have a few suggestions for you, although Lord Thurston Overholt does have a regal ring to it:

*Thurston Thunderfuck

*Thurston Smallberries

*Thurston Jingleheimer-Schmidt

*Thurston Mobutu

*Thurston Xavier Perez De Borracho

*Doctor Drunk

You might also consider "Rye" as an alternate first name. Something like Rye Rittenhouse, then get the company to pay you for advertising their product. Or you could legally change your name to Hormel Swanson. How about Heinz McDonald? Arby Schlitz?

I once drank with DanUK. Absolute nutter. At one point, I think he was trying to get me to bang his sister.

OK I see, the name would be like Baker or Smith. That's good thinking.
