More people should kill themselves

Post by Puke-owski »

I've had several people throughout my life whom have "threatened" suicide during a phone call or a text message.
I had nothing to do with why they were contemplating it but I always dropped everything everything I was doing, which mostly was drinking myself into oblivion, go over there and try to calm them down while I was shaking because I realized I didn't have enough alcohol in me to stave off the withdrawal symptoms. I remember being hungover while my sister was admitted to a psych ward after a failed suicide attempt and taking care of her and talking to her doctors.

I'm glad I was "there" in a sense to prevent them from doing it but looking back, it made my drinking worse. Maybe I shouldn't have stopped them.
There's far too many people on this planet anyway. I just want to drink and be left alone.

What a morbid and interesting topic. Western culture mostly deals with the subject of suicide by sweeping it under the rug. I think it would be an injustice to censor this thread. But by the same token, you’ve put out some fairly deep and serious material in a relatively short post. And a first post at that. As the Skunk said, I hope you’ll be able to elaborate a bit further.

Alright, I'll be the douche and bag of this conversation, but... have you known anyone that's actually committed to the "bad bad" thing?

You say you know folks who have threatened. Maybe they were just calling out for help and they got it.

Yaaay?

What about you, kind sir? How are you and what do you drink? I'm a rye guy myself.

Suicide

Post by Puke-owski »

Well, my older brother, whom I hadn't seen in years, recently reached out to me and started crying that he wanted to kill himself.
I had to watch him cry hours.
He doesn't "deserve" my empathy nor my help but I obliged.
I was going to type something about him being a materialistic and selfish asshole his entire life but it doesn't matter.
I hope he goes through with it and dies a slow and painful death.
Karma's a bitch.

Coward

Post by Puke-owski »

I drink myself to death every single night, hoping I don't wake up to face another day of going through the needles, stabs and boredom of life.
Of course, I could end it quickly any day but I'm a coward so I'll take the slow, painful death of drinking myself to death and mixing it with pills.
I used to talk to people, be social, go on dates but nowadays I just see them as walking objects and copies of each other.
I can see their mouths moving and I can hear the sounds they're making and it's always the same garbage about work, money, relationships or whatever.

I was homeless and begging on the streets some time ago and eating people's leftovers and felt something and somehow alive.
I think I'm going to go back as I'm too much of a coward to kill myself or others.

I hate being alive. It's just torture when you have empathy and bliss when you don't.
Assholes and idiots reign supreme while the ones that care about their fellow man are disposable, laughed at and punished for having emotions.
In the end, it doesn't matter as both those assholes and idiots and those with empathy will die eventually.
It does beg the question: should you turn into an asshole or an idiot to "enjoy the ride" before the inevitable happens or just keep on being a "good" person?
One thing is at least clear: God, or whatever that something that made life, is an asshole for forcing you into that choice.
That's also why I'm pro-abortion. We don't need anymore shitty, evil products from the trash company that keeps producing it
It's really our only line of defense against "that thing". Well, that and murder in general.
Just send it back like an Amazon package.

100% agreed. I just told oett yesterday that being an empath is a curse. I think it's in our nature to be a good person and care about shit and should you choose to turn into an asshole, you still won't "enjoy the ride."

And I don't believe in God but yes, he is an asshole.
