...of Dubya, but when the Bush administration attempted this type of security screening at airports it was denounced as "racial profiling", and yet the dems plan to do EXACTLY the same thing but are calling it "screening by observing personal traits" -- which is total PC bullshit.

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld ... 2519.story

I fly a lot and I'm personally not opposed to "profiling", but let's call it what it is. Isn't that what "transparency in government" is supposed to be about, Mr President?

Btw...I wonder if the personal trait of yelling "Death to America!" while going through security might earn one a trip to the private screening-area?

in october after 9/11, we flew into manhattan for a job. on the way out, there were literally 3 people on the flight. i had a black leather jacket on, so i was pulled aside for a more thorough inspection. truth be told, i don't mind submitting to more extensive screening as long as its done efficiently so i don't miss a flight. all it takes is one guy/girl with explosives in their shoe, underwear (what's next, the 'penile implant bomber'?) to fuck up a flight beyond repair.

DEATH TO AMERICA!
The last thing that anyone should ever do is feel ashamed of blacking out. You were trying to get drunk last night and, goddamnit, mission accomplished.

Back to the original point, the "parties" are just facades at this point. Both sides are becoming more moderate and there really are very few true liberals or conservatives left. And the ones that are, are called extremists now.

Perhaps that's one of the reasons we are giving the government more of our freedom every day.

Obviously you haven't been noting the effect that the Teabagger Movement is having on the upcoming Republican primaries.
