I think that one was my favorite of all time.

FC, thanks for digging up those old gems. People at my previous work must have thought I was a crackpot, cause I'd spend half the day in my cube laughing my ass off.

I rarely had 10 High, but from now on I'm keeping a bottle in my liquor cabinet. Whenever I make a drink I'll glance at it and fondly remember my friend.

Cause that's how he rolled.

And that's why I loved him. Not because he drank Bourbon, or was a world-class drunk, or because I agreed with all his decisions, but because he was his own man who lived his life true to himself.

He was a prince, and a genius. A man's man, a ladies' man, a guy who, no matter how he was feeling, always left you feeling like a million bucks. Godspeed, friend, have a Heineken with my dad and a round waiting for me when I catch up to you guys.
I just wish there were some actual drunkards around here who can handle themselves like adults while still acting like retards - liquor&poker

Aside from making me a bit misty, this is perfect.

Concur. My "cabinet" is nearly gone, but I think I can find a place for a bottle. I have to see if I can find one tonight and raise one (or 3) up in his honor.

I wish I'd had the pleasure of making his acquaintance. Sounds like every acquaintance became a friend. Cheers to you on your journeys, DJF, and Meg, please accept my sincerest condolences.

I noticed- his last post on this board was welcoming Crystal and Mike's child into the world. Part of me thinks it's a Circle of Drunkard Life thing.

Like a blessing on the little guy.

I called Massive with the news. His hard drive went boom so he said he'd borrow a laptop and chime in. Also said he'd get some Ten High and "go round for round with that sumbitch".

The booze gods smiled on me, I have a fifth of Ten High and once Hoss II conks out I will raise one or more to Tim.

JT is so right about meet Tim and that smile just coming across your face. I found out Sunday night and I'm just waiting for it to really set in. Meggie I know your family is there now but if you need to talk some more like Liz said you have the number. Here's some blurry pics to go with those blurry memories the Judge was talking about.
