Gripping the Wheel - Rememberances

To our wheeling friend who passed two nights ago. You didn't make it back to New York but you did make it home.

Raise your glass and be fearful of the great drinkers who've gone on to prepare a divine barstool for the rest of us!

Cheers Christopher!

This is sad. I raise a glass of rye in remembrance of the good man.

His wit and culinary prowess will be dearly missed. May he wheel eternal through the Halls of Whiskey.

I missed this back in March. I had some good, drunken visits with Grip. What a sweet, hilarious man. He'd have music playing, and "Seven Bridges Road" by the Eagles came on. Of course, we sang. Didn't know all the words, but we sounded good. This song will always be a reminder of his gentle, positive spirit. Love you, dear Grip.

Just noticed he is still in my contacts. I don't want to delete it because I miss him.
