nope. the distillary already got their money for it, after all....
A boycott mean you don't buy it. Doesn't mean you can't drink it.

Speaking of the boycott. This random booze pick is of a signed bottle from Lincoln Henderson. He worked for Brown Forman. Now he and his son own Louisville Distillery. He was also the driving force behind Woodford Reserve. One of my favorites. I also have not bought a drop of it since I signed the petition. God Bless the man for getting out from under those slimey douchebag suits and making bourbon I can drink again.

Because it sucks, in short.
I think that the "official" reason for the boycott of that Tennessee whiskey is the least of my concerns. But, the bigger picture of the boycott is that it is a brand, it is treated as a branded commodity and not a craft. Fuck it. there's better liquor out there.

Casino there is a more in depth write up here in the art of getting hammered. Just look for Mr. Henderson's name.

Here's a pic of my bedroom bar as it sits right now. A bunch of empties need to get outta here, but the bottle of Kraken on the right has some shuga/hwata/hyeast action going on in it. Or did. Now it's stagnating, waiting for some form of distillation.
