As a kid? How young a kid? A KID kid? Hmmm... This is scary. I can remember what I watched as a teenager, but I honestly have no recollection what I watched as a kid besides whatever cartoons were shown during the 60's. Casper, Jetson's, Flintstones. Uh oh. I think I might be suffering from repressed memory syndome and only just now realized it. Oh wait. I guess I watched Leave It To Beaver and Dennis The Menace, but it must have either been reruns from the 50's or at the tail end of both series. I also loved the Mickey Mouse Club, except there I know I was watching reruns. I liked watching Dick Van Dyke and Loretta Young Theater. Adam's Family and Munsters. Ah...it's all coming back to me now. Oh, I loved the original Outer Limits.

This week, on a very special episode of Facts of Life

Alex Keaton finds himself being dragged to a clinic by The Fall Guy to dry out. There he befriends Rick Simon, who teaches him to drive a forklift through a burning warehouse. It isn't long before Rick turns Alex on to T.C.'s Island Hopping coke ring. Soon after, as Ronald Regan is voted the 666th pope, Alex is turning tricks to keep feeding his veins and writing songs for Howard Jones.

Okay, I think they were all reruns when I saw them, but I loved:

Addams Family
Get Smart
Looney Tunes
Outer Limits
One Step Beyond
Twilight Zone
The Lone Ranger
Batman

I also used to watch kiddie shows:

Sheriff John
Hobo Kelly
Baby Daphne
Chuck Jones the magician
Billy Barty

I also sneaked out of bed and sat in the hallway to watch the first two Pink Panther movies. And I saw the original Dracula through the furnace vent while I was supposed to be taking my nap. What eyes that man had!

Also, Dick Van Dyke show. I wanted to grow up and write for a comedy show.
