There's only been one Italian Job... just like there's only been one Get Carter... just as there's only one Alfie.

I refuse to have Sir Michael Caine's name dragged through the mud being even the slightest bit associated with those awful remakes.

You can guarantee that if someone is doing a remake where Sir Michael Caine was in the original, it's going to suck.

Sir Michael Caine's made some shitbombs, though. Goose decided to watch "The Island" this morning (it was on the free movies on demand channel). Holy crap. Yeah, there were pirates in it - but otherwise no redeeming qualities.

Now I've got the damn Benny Hill theme song going through my head. Damn you.
