BDS2: All Saint's Day

Post by greygoose »

Picked it up on dvd. the sequel to Boondock Saints is pretty good.

1. don't judge it by the original (if that's possible).
2. willem dafoe does make an appearance.
3. this one is a bit 'tarantino-esque'.
4. overall, i don't regret buying it.

Saw it in the theatre. Didn't like the replacement sidekick but it was still enjoyable. They actually just played the original BDS in the theatre here for one night, but I didn't go as they wanted 11 freaking .50 for tickets.

I thought he was ok; not great, but ok. he played a good role in 'the last castle' with robert redford. 11.50? dayum. i think i paid that much for my dvd copy.

That's was one of the main reasons I didn't see it. The movie wouldn't quite work without rocco so I knew there would be a lame replacement. Also having Billy Connelly as a main character would cheapen how cool he is in the first one.
