Ash vs. Evil Dead. Featuring Bruce Campbell as Ashy Slashy the original boomstick slasher with the chainsaw hand, and Xena Warrior Princess! Hilarious, gory, so much camp you'll need a sleeping bag. Excellent soundtrack as well.

In a sense I will concur, Thirsty. Although I did enjoy it...it was most likely because I watched it in succession to pass a slow work day. But usually I find most of the entertainment industry these days are extremely Triscuit-y and not Biscuit-y...to quasi use the parlance of yours and Badfellow's times. Has Hollywood ran out of material? It is seemingly unoriginal and "been there, done that". How many more movies, ideas, and such have to be remade? It's probably why I still stick with some of the old and trusted originals I can always count on. Somebody watch Kantaro the Sweet Tooth Salary Man and tell me what I should think of this. Then send me some Japanese sweet treats.

While looking for something to watch on Netflix, I stumbled onto a little Gem called "You Are Under Arrest". It's the Canadian version of COPS, and it is hilarious! What a bumbling bunch of incompetent idiots those RCRMP are! Not a good program, but hilariously delicious.

I got hooked on that one awhile back. It is an entirely different way of handling criminals, kinda reminds me of how cops were back in the 80's. They do pretty much anything to avoid having to take you to jail, especially if you're drunk in public, they'll take you to a shelter or detox, drunk tank for a few hours maybe. That being said, I've also notice that if someone is screaming "Take me to jail" or ARREST ME!" that person doesn't get to say it twice, they cuff you straight away and off you go.Dear Booze wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2018 2:08 pmWhile looking for something to watch on Netflix, I stumbled onto a little Gem called "You Are Under Arrest". And I'm glad to find out that I'm not the only person on the planet who has watched this thing.
The funny thing about "You are Under Arrest" is the cops consistently take the cuffs off of people who are clearly out of control. And it never fails, the "arrested" individual ends up taking a swing and the officer.
Additionally, the Canadian cops ALWAYS have trouble getting cuffs on the criminals in the first place.
Another Netflix gem is "Shot in the Dark".
