We're talking Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in the Hemmingway short story. That was a classic.Merchant Seaman wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 8:21 pmMy go to's are

What I appreciated in the Zappa movie was once FZ got established in Laurel Canyon and having released 'Freak Out', the big name groups all started paying homage to him by visiting and maybe jamming in his basement studio. He was the leading edge but all these admirers as talented as they were didn't have the guts to defy the media limits and risk poverty.scream ale wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 11:32 amThis was good. Awesome archival footage. Zappa showing off his vault of everything he ever recorded was insane.
I also watched The Void. At one point it seemed like it was a cross between Night of the Living Dead and The Thing. And then I have no fucking clue what I watched.

I just watched Slumdog Millionaire on YouTube for $4 and the ending almost made me cry.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

I've found that Youtube puts out these feature length films billed as 'free with ads'. Well, I'm using the Brave browser and it doesn't tolerate ads because I've never had an interruption watching all these fine films for free. Tonight I watched the 2002 production of 'The Count of Monte Cristo'.

This is great news. You are getting advance notice which is super cool. I like Tyrone Power and I believe George Clooney wishes he could be more like him. That will never happen!oettinger wrote: ↑Sun Jun 20, 2021 4:00 pm^^^ There will be a new movie based on the same novel: Nightmare Alley 2021

Watched the new Ghost in the Shell the other day.
Really rad and underrated movie -- I prefer it to the original.
