I love how the girl in the poster isn't even in the movie. I found this movie at a video store that was closing down when I was in middle school and although I was though it was pretty dumb, just never could keep from watching every couple years.

The Long Goodbye Official Trailer #1 - Elliott Gould
This is the worst of '70's movies. You had to be living in L.A. at the time to understand what crap this was.
It was full of the stereotype Cali hippy bullshit culture and Elliot Gould was the chain smoking Chandler character.

Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

The Untouchables (1987). Fucking awful. Those 2 hours flew by like a lifetime.

Terminator Genisys. Of the four Terminator movies I've seen (The first one, T2, Rise of the Machines and now this glorious waste of time) Genisys was by far the most painful to sit through.

Perfect Storm, I can never see again; I'm fine. The 9/11 film about the passengers that fought back...Nah, I'm good. Anything where people die, and their death is the point, I'm cool with. I don't need it. I see movies for release and escapism, i don't want reality in my shit.

Agreed. That's why I usually gravitate towards intellectual comedies or fantasy movies. Something lighthearted.Rye and Coke wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 5:43 pmPerfect Storm, I can never see again; I'm fine. The 9/11 film about the passengers that fought back...Nah, I'm good. I hate all horror movies.
Life is short. Why do you have to create stuff with a negative valence?

^^ No. Let's not.
Been going through my Friday the 13th tapes lately, seems like the thing to do. Number 7(The New Blood) has always been my least favorite. Has a fair amount of nudity, not enough to save it, but enough to keep it barely interesting.
But recently I noticed just awful part 5(New Beginning) is. And as they all are this win ties with part 7 for worst. Everything about this is pretty bad. From the doofy kids in the Looney bin house to the retarded hicks to the weak ass ending. Really, really bad.

Yeah, I get the gist that later Friday the 13th films weren't that good. The Nightmare movies have their moments though. I'm not sure what it is. But the later Nightmare movies like Freddy's Dead and the New Nightmare weren't that bad. The New Nightmare was actually pretty inventive.scream ale wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 4:05 pm^^ No. Let's not.

Whatever whatever.
Halloween season is upon us. I have Pumkin ales out the ass and I will be celebrating the whole season through.

Re: Movies we would care not to see again
^ ^ ^ I always thought the Hellraiser movies were rather horrifying. Graphic for the times at the very least.
