Re: Your #1 Booze flick
In my late teens, I went through a period of watching "The Lost Weekend" and drinking whisk(e)y along with Don Birnam. Obviously, the film wasn't quite meant as a drinkalong, but I didn't care.
"Sideways" is a great film to watchwhile drinking. I also enjoy "The Quiet Man" during a drunk.
As many of you have stated, "Animal House" is always an excellent shout.

No Trees Lounge or Last Night at the Alamo?
Anyway, I'm a bartender and filmmaker here to throw my own film into the hat: LIMO RIDE. My apologies if this breaks rules of promotion (not sure what the moderation is about), but surely if anyone's interested it'd be y'all.
We're billing our film as The Greatest Bar Story Ever Told. If you're curious about more, you can read on below or contact me direct at [email protected]. Thanks all! Cheers!
Here's our new trailer and poster:

New poster here: http://bit.ly/lrposter
About LIMO RIDE:
In the greatest bar story ever told, ten friends recount the true tale of surviving their wildest night. After hiring a sketchy limousine service, a rag-tag bunch of hard partiers embark on their New Year's tradition – running naked into the Gulf of Mexico – only to find themselves 24 hours later kidnapped, stripped, stranded and left for dead. Combining narration of the actual participants with feature-length re-creation, filmmakers Gideon C. Kennedy and Marcus Rosentrater take you on a hilarious ride about getting lost, getting found and getting hammered.
About the Filmmakers:
By day, Marcus Rosentrater is Animation Director on the Emmy Award-winning show ARCHER. By night, Gideon Kennedy has been in the bar business for over a decade. And they can both attest that this is one of the wildest and funniest stories they've ever heard.
LIMO RIDE will be available starting this Friday, Oct. 14th on the following platforms:

Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

I'm a Frenchman living in France but with anglo-american taste.
I love and admire your fine Modern Drunkard- magazine and your merch (have three t-shirts so far).
Here are some booze- movies I thought of after my absolutel favorite of course: SWINGERS (1996).
Bright Lights, Big City (but I don't do drugs)
Arthur
Death Proof
Scent of a woman
Animal House
Good fellas (hate those caracters must say)
Crazy Heart
Flight
Bachelor Party
Tres lounge
