Dread Zeppelin

Post by Sgt. HSA »

A reggae band that does Led Zeppelin covers and has an Elvis impersonator as their lead singer.

Really, if you've never listened to the Dread, you need to.

What if you like neither Zeppelin nor reggae?
Wine in the mornin', and some breakfast at night.
Well, I'm beginning to see the light.

Ordinarily I'd say it won't work for you. But it might; it's a very strange dynamic.

Actually, Zeppelin was my third band (in the way you'd think of a band as your lover - I had this explained to me earlier today by a musician but he was drunk then and I am now), and... reggae... is starting to sound better, now that I am older, more mellow, um, out of the military and um.

Love dread zeppeling. Only wish they toured up my way more. They havnt been to BC in years. Love "Big 'ol Gold Belt" and there rendition of "Brick houses of the holy" with the "In the Ghetto" refrain....

But I digress....Anything Quasi Elvis is cool.

I like your AV, and I like their rendition of "Gin and Juice" as well.

Are you it's Hayseed? I heard someone else cover that, but I dont think it was them.

I really want to get Kiss my Grass, the KISS tribute album they do.

I stand corrected, it was The Gourds apparently. Some people figured it was PHISH, but I can't even place Tre Anastasio in that tune.

Good song at any rate, better than the snoopdizzle vizzle foshizzle.
