The Doors

Great music when drunk to listen to or meh?
You look around each corner, hoping that she's there. You try to play the fool perhaps, pretend that you don't care. But it doesn't do a bit of good, you got to seek to you find, or you'll never unwind.

Yeah, even if not being stoned but on the booze and pills, I love listening to them. In great spirits this evening.

Silly question. The Doors are one of the best things you can listen to in any state of existence. Morrison Hotel and LA Woman would make my list of "run back inside and save from the fire burning down the house" list if I owned them on vinyl. Fortunately this is 2011 and I know where my ipod is at all times.

I have 18 of them in my house counting closets and the garage one.

Oh noes. You have activated my OPD. Now I must count the effing doors. When we moved in, I only counted the windows, on account of I had to make curtains. Twenty windows. Oops, do you count the slider? I had to provide curtain for that. And then seventeen doors. Not counting the oldfashioned sliding closet in one of the rooms, which is in two pieces so... so... ARGH! How do I count?

It is the little things that drive us crazy.

Oh crap. I forgot the first story landing curtain. Add it. Please don't penalize me. So what if I bought it instead of sewing it.
Or is that called the second story landing? So confusing. I want a one story house, like I grew up in.

"This is the end... beautiful friend."
Was at an all inclusive resort last summer in Mexico with an ipod full of The Doors. It was the best vacation ever. Found myself listening to the Soft Parade a lot for some reason.

Have had the pleasure of his company - he's fanTAStic! A great guy.

Me too just recently. In their day the general consensus was that was their worst album, but I love it

Right! Soft Parade and Tell All the People alone is worth the album.
