we live in an inexplicable world. best to not ask questions. just carry on. and shut the fuck up, lest they cotton on to you and then you are sunk.
But they have not taken away our music, as of yet.

But here we have, with much joy, a perfect example of music. A large group of people get together, and perform something so perfect, that one can hardly believe it, but there it is. Music unites us, like nothing else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLTManObB40&featur
reminds me of my little girl's concerts, as I, for the first time, did more than listen. I watched every musician, as they cued in to the conductor, and winced at the missteps, but enjoyed the experience nevertheless, because the whole was greater than the parts. See, I, as the average plebian, used to let the pretty sounds wash over me. To hear the individual instruments was a revelation. It was as if I had been deaf, and suddenly, I could hear, really hear. My lazy ears woke up.

And then there is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wePM0aITzYc&feature
George Gershwin was born incredible, and shall ever remain so. When I feel bad, I put on his music, and things get better.

We are the music. It reverberates, resonates, brings us back into the fold. Brilliant piece of music, to be sure, but I already lost what I said a moment ago, Is that any different? Hard to say.

It is sad, that so few among us can appreciate real music. George Gershwin was amazing, and he died far too young.

Those were spectacular. It leads me to wonder if Gershwin were alive to day would he have taken up the synth? The piano roll of the modern age as it were.
