All three episodes of. BBC's Punk Britannia, with future Doctor Who Peter Capaldi doing the narration. For drinkers, the first one, featuring pub rock and the roots of punk, would be the best of the three. I don't know all three are still on You Tube, I downloaded them all before the Beeb decided to pull them. Curiously, they allowed The Joy of Disco back, after getting pulled off a while ago.
May you all be hung, drawn and quartered!

Damn fine find, fellow punk fiend.
You know, perhaps we can protect these rare finds form being removed, by not linking directly to them in a chat board. I think that you are correct to simply mention, and then let people search and seek the vids.
We might be better protectors of rare gems by not making them targets for the money grabbers.
Yup.

I'd wish I downloaded the BBC's Prog Britannia and Heavy Metal Britannia, both narrated by Nigel Planer (Neil the hippie from The Young Ones). But I've got VH1'S HEAVY: The Story of Metal (for drinkers, the third episode, featuring L.A. glam metal and part of the Chris Holmes interview, would be the best. Non-musically, I've also got two great VH1 docs, The Drug Years, and Sex: The Revolution.

Yup.
I found out over the years they pop up again every so often and maybe even some more rarities appear in bunches. It`s a war of attrition between users and companys that, to my knowledge, companys often get tired off with time.

Hopefully so. I found that (in the other sites where I write shit) sometimes the links get broken over time. It's always "third party infringement." Then I have to find a fourth party. It sounds like a hell of a night out, but it's actually a pain in the arse, and not in a good way.oettinger wrote: As if we were the only ones linking to them.
